mirror lakes of milford sound

Milford Sound is justifiably the most famous visitor destination in New Zealand!! trust me the spectacular sights of waterfalls cascading from sheer rock faces rising 1,200 metres or more from the sea, lush rain forests clinging precariously to the cliffs would absolutely give you the sight of lifetime..
This place is one of the wettest place in new zealand as they claim to have 182 days of rainy days in a year. this character of this place gives rise to the temporary waterfalls that you can never see anywhere else
we have options to either hike, cruise or take a road trip along this milford sound area with each of them showing different angle of beauty
Milford Sound is 295km from Queenstown (4 hours 15 minutes) and 121km from Te Anau (2 hours 15 minutes). The road passes through unspoiled mountain landscapes before entering the 1.2km Homer Tunnel which emerges into rain-forest-carpeted canyons that descend to the sound.
The Milford Road, while of a very high standard, is prone to avalanches. During the winter months snow falls regularly. The long distances involved prompt many visitors to visit Milford Sound on a sightseeing coach tour. A number of options are available from Queenstown and Te Anau. As the return journey is back along the Milford Road, many visitors choose to return by scenic flight
milford sound cruise is a 1 hour 45 minutes to 3 hours with some visits to the milford deep observatory

The most famous tramp in New Zealand, the Milford Track is often called the Finest Walk in the World. It is great — 4 days; over a mountain saddle, sprayed by spectacular Sutherland Falls, boating on spectacular Milford Sound. Rudyard Kipling called Milford Sound the eighth wonder of the world.
The Milford Track is wild wet terrain; lakes, rivers, waterfalls, rainforest, beech and podocarp forest, alpine meadows. The fishing is superb. You enjoy amazing views from well marked, mostly easy track.
Some (including many Kiwis) prefer nearby alpine alternatives; the Routeburn, Kepler, Cascade Saddle or Dusky Sound Tracks. No doubt about it, the Southern Alps of New Zealand is one of the most fabulous hiking destinations on Earth

siemens 2010...

after sckl marathon 2010, i m back on the road running like a mad dog... this is my third marathon after the hukm prostate cancer run which was shortly followed by the kl marathon. i dont know why i love running the distance which i would hatefully hate after each run. that awe full feeling doenst usually last long as after a week or so i will be back running..
the run stated since yesterday when me and ma running partner(sue) went to collect our running package at the wisma ocm, as we both are still considered as marathon virgins we had the most'fun' time searching for that dread full building.. theres always a positive side to a terible day.. we eventually learned that the place is infront of stadium negara and it is on jalan hang jebat... FYI, both of us are johoreans playing our cards in kl.. we are determined to know kl more than KL-ites themselves. i m sure we will continue to explore kl due to our marathon campaign. i would like to take this take this oppurtunity to thanks mohana's father for giving us some useful direction to that stupid building. (mohana is sue's gf).. the misery didnt end there as the parking inside that building is rm5 per entry and that place is in no mans land with nothing interesting nearby.. waste of money.. -lesson of the day=dont park your car inside that building-

then we did some off marathon activity for the whole day....

the next morning is the marathon day... as usual i get excited for every run that i couldnt sleep well and i ended up waking so many times that nite, notably at 1am, 2am, 3am and finally 430am(the supposed time for me to wake up) and then i got up and get some bananas and some milo with some bread..(the combination is not so nice but it did fill my tummy up well). n off i went to pick ma buddy up in mmu.. apparently he worked the from 6pm until 2/3 sumting and didnt sleep and was having some chill out time.. the first thing that came to ma mind was that he wont end up sleeping on the road... then we went to dataran merdeka and did some strecthing and off we went....

i left sue behind from the begining itself as i was a man on a mission .. ma mission is to finish the race and get some clock a gud time... and i think i ran quite fast compared to my normal runs ..

running a marathon is a torture to the physical side and also the mental state.. we cannot be egoistic seeing chicks and oldie runing past you, the only thing to control damage in those conditions is to keep running at our pace... and we must never stop running except when our body cannot take the maximum pressure.. the run was on a new track for me, it went up and down over and over again... but still i mange to run at a decent pace for most of the time... until about 8km when my legs were giving up a little bit, the leg said slow down so i slowed down....

and it went untill i finish teh 10km in 51 minutes, i was suprised with the timing as i was hoping to run in 40++ min, but its ok, i willl continue training untill i reach my target time...
but before that i must get g-shock to keep i track of the time... i was running in the oldest fashion, minus the sport shoe,.. i had no mp3 player, no water bottle, no stop watch, no accessories that all the runners have,, i wish i can buy some of the stuffs one day.... but first i must get a proper running apparels first...thats my next goal ....

n finally my puma is seeing its last days , it is only a year old and did some very gud mileage with me,, it has never given up on me.. but time is nearing for it to give way for a new balance...(i m gona buy it with 30% discount i got from sckl)...

n now i m gona take a week off and be back training next week for the next run i m gona choose to run..

they say they wana cut the subsidy... but actualy only najib and his so called 'first lady' noes the exact reason.....maybe ros***wana go to paris to do sum early winter shopping .....god save malaysia from misery... at the same time tis is also contrast with the goverment statement which says that our economy is very stable and the all the hoohah bout the country goin bancrupt by 2019 is total rubbish... well the minister may have been shut up with some condoms in his mouth so that he wont say anyting after this....... anyhow... god save malaysia la...

jabulani!!

world cup came and fast dissapearing into the sunset of the lovely cape town..what started to be an awesome world cup dissapointed alot of people especially brazil, argentina, germany and definately england fans.. whatever the result is world move keep rolling and the respective fans have to take the result with a pinch of humbility or leave the world cup topic all together....... there would be alot of empty tins out there trying to blow their teams vuvuzela to other by boasting that their team is the best, but the result of the game heavily depends on the ball itself that caused alot of hoo haahs... in a game there can be two results, a draw or a team wins with the other team losing... and the goal scored could also have two type of scorers, with the scorer being the player and the another on is the ball itself where the ball is created in such a way where it can fly into the goal... it started in the first england game and ended in the 3/4 placing game(at the time of posting.) .. most of the goals were long shots... adidas has to take the ball back to their lab and come back with some slower ball. its ok to make a slower ball instead of a ball that can fly into the goal on its own...

wit the ball playing one part, the players also has stolen the spotlight with not being the best , but instead with having so many star flops in the tournament... some has postulated it to be the curse of the nike.. they started the campaign with write the future campaign but all of those in the add had to RIGHT their future after all of them failing to live up their hype in a manner no one expected.... but somehow nike did some damage control by coming up with writen the future with only one player(robinho in the add)....

n i m tired writing a very long post in ma first attempt so catch u guys some other time la....
signing off with a yogish feeling....
